le gram is the result of a meeting, that of Adrien Messié and Erwan Le Louër. From his esthete grandfather who loved beautiful things and his carpenter father, Adrien kept the passion for beautiful objects, for those which lasted because they were well manufactured, from a time when only the product could speak for him. -even. this family heritage led him to collaborate with andrée putman, continuing to infuse this culture of objects, materials and a sense of simplicity.
The project of a silver ribbon with a simple shape then takes shape, available in several widths varying its weight. hence, the idea of naming it in the most essential way possible: its weight. the le gram project revolves around creations with elementary shapes, the same shape declined in several sizes depending on its weight, in different materials serving the object. From this common desire to confront the masculine world, the gram was born, a lifestyle brand aimed at men.

how do you wear the gram?
in accumulation exclusively. the first is an accumulation in 925 silver with the 33g matte pyramid guilloché, the 21g smooth polished, the 7g smooth brushed and the 41g smooth brushed. I like to wear certain pieces “inverted” to reveal the opening on the top of the wrist.
what is your favorite object?
first, my grandfather's watch, worn by my father and which I ultimately inherited. It's a Jaeger LeCoultre automatic from the 1950s, with a slightly ivory background. I had a custom strap remade in matte “navy blue/faux black” alligator leather with no visible stitching. for me it represents both transmission and timelessness. it weighs 39 grams. and of course, the first smooth polished 21g bracelet, everything started from there, it's a bit of the very essence of the brand.
